What does MyEventAds do?
Our mission is to simplify the selling, purchasing, and publication of advertisements for all types of events. Everything including: sports (baseball, football, hockey, soccer, etc.), dance recitals, plays, cheerleading competitions and much more.
How much does it cost?
The event organizers set the prices for their advertisements. The minimum ad price is $5.00. The seller will pay our commision of 10% or $1 per ad (whichever is greater).
How do I pay for placing at ad?
Currently, we accept payments though PayPal.
However, you do not have to have a PayPal account. You can also pay with a credit card through the PayPal System.
Payments are fully secure and we never see or store your credit card number (PayPal handles all of that).
How will I receive payments for ads placed in our event booklet?
Within one week after your "sales closing date", we will send your payment (less our commission) via PayPal or Check.
How do I download the ads?
We do all of the ad formatting for you. Currently, we can generate HTML and Microsoft Word Documents.
Simply find your event in the "Event Calendar" or "Event List" and click on the link. If you are the user that created the event, there will be a "Generate Booklet" format that open the booklet formatter.
How are my ads scaled/re-sized?
In order to make your ads fit into the ad slot you purchased, the ad may be re-sized using the following rules:
- Ads will never be make larger. You lose resolution when you do this and the picture will get fuzzy.
- Ads will always be scales proportionally (i.e. they will never be stretched or cropped.
It is always better to upload the largest size and resolution ads that you have.
What if someone places an inappropriate ad?
We expect you to publish all "reasonable" advertisements in your booklet.
However, if you see an objectionable ad, e-mail us immediately and we'll remove it from your booklet and will not charge you a commission on that ad.
We reserve the right to ban any users uploading or placing objectionable advertisements.
We will refund the money paid by the buyer minus our 10% or $1 commission.
